Hi, I'm Adi! (though most of my friends call me Kodi)

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, but more than that, I've been first and foremost a storyteller. After having worked close to a decade in the animation industry, I found myself growing increasingly dissatisfied with how little Christian media existed in the spaces I really cared about. I knew I wanted to create something of my own that could use the talents God has given me for His glory.  That means the comics and designs (posters, apparel, etc) are all done by hand (not AI).

Risen Archive is the result of that desire.

It's a collection of simple, hand-drawn stories about faith, waiting, trusting, doubting, and learning to see God's fingerprint in the ordinary struggles of life. The main character is simply referred to as "me," not because he is me but because the stories are told in a way that most of us can recognize as our own. They're meant to feel close, familiar.... like something you've lived through yourself. 

Although these stories often explore the hardships of life, they end with quite reminders that God's providence is always present.  In a way, they're meant to be like bite-sized devotions told through simple, hand-drawn comic strips.

My hope is that these comics bless you in some way that they could encourage you, remind you of God's faithfulness, and point you back to Him, especially in a world that often feels uncertain.
